Computer Lowers Volume When USB Plugged In

I’ve noticed my computer would lower the volume whenever I plugged in my USB mouse. This works for both Windows 7/8.

  1. Open the Sounds menu from either your Control Panel or right clicking on your sound icon and click Sounds.
  2. Go to the Communications tab, and click on the “Do nothing” radio button.
  3. Close and you should be good to go.
